Jason: 010001110111001001100101 Peter: What on earth are you doing?! Jason: Speaking in binary. I figure now that athe digital age has taken over, it makes sense to adopt what is truly now the dominant language. 01100101011101000110100101101110... Peter: Jason, I can't understand a word you're saying! Jason: Actually, I um, haven't finished the first word yet. Peter: Look, computer boy, unless you want me to boot you...

First panel in ASCII: “Gre”. Third panel: “etin”. Or, in hexadecimal: 47, 72, 65; and 65, 74, 69, 6E. Or, in decimal: 71, 114, 101; and 101, 116, 105, 110. I like the front-on view of the second panel.

@pgn674 -
greetings and thanks - I was too lazy to look up the ascii codes (and, knowing Amend, it could have been ebcdic, and I have no idea where my IBM crib-sheet is…).
i guess octal would be too much to ask for… :)

Oh Jason… if you’re speaking standard ASCII you can use only 7 bits and save yourself from saying an extra ‘zero’ every byte.

Oct 31 = Dec 25 Therefore, Halloween equals Christmas.
Some years Thanksgiving falls on Nov 27 = Oct 31 = Dec 25.
So: Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are all equal.
Proof: Christmas decorations appear in the stores in September.
(If any holidays fell on Sept 34, they would count too…)
