the Grinch was never practical. he was a thief. And the little lost villagers were happy because they learned the TRUE meaning of Christmas in giving (Allbeit the commercially true meaning having nothing to do with the founder of the day). So this is a miss by a mile.

thank you, freeholder1, for pointing out how Bill Amend messed up his direct adaptation of “how the grinch stole christmas” into comic form. and the grinch wasn’t originally a woman either! thank god for your stunning literary analysis skills.
