How do we know it ISN’T tofu turkey ?

tofurkey! Andy dear, the fact that you DIDN’T buy a frozen turkey and now must thaw it, should be a hint that either your heater is broken, or you are like my father-in-law and too cheap to run the heater, I’m surprised no one in your house is sick.

Yet even Andy believes that it will thaw in the fridge when it froze on the counter. Refridgerators don’t heat. If the room is below freezing, so is everything in the fridge.

I bet it is todo turkey.

“It’s just a comic, it’s just a comic, it’s just a comic…”Yet… no. The more I read some of these reruns with Andy’s idiocy it becomes less of a funny strip and more of a tragic family dealing with a vile, abusive mother/wife. Bleh.

When you live alone and pay ALL the bills, you can keep your house at whatever temp you like but when someone else is chipping in and there are others whose well-being you should be concerned for, for goodness sakes, levelize and turn up the heat!

Andy, it’s the middle of winter! You DON’T lower the temperature in winter!

Now repeat after me: “heat is expensive.” “I’m not paying to heat the great outdoors” “go put on a sweater.”

She’ll be paying the plumber when her water pipes freeze and burst. I keep telling my husband that to remind him that turning down the heat will cost us more not only in money but inconvenience if the pipes burst.

I thought that sweater was a sign.

Well, isn’t it ROGER’S money that’s paying for the heat? Shouldn’t he get a say in where it’s set?
