FoxTrot Classics by Bill Amend for June 19, 2012

To continue on from my comment yesterday: the theatre at which I applied & had an interview is under a little renovation, so it’ll be a while until they find the right crew as employees.

I kind of want to see The Avengers just ‘cuz I haven’t seen a big action flick on a big screen in a few years. Maybe I’ll find some free time before it goes to DVD.

Before I was transferred to a smaller theater, I did manage to avoid having to work till after midnight for big films, but even so it was an NIGHTMARE during the first week of each new summer film trying to get the theaters cleaned fast enough.

The upside was, I usually got to see some impressive costumes…depending on the film of course.

That reminds me, I need to get in line for the Hobbit.

Only time I go to movies anymore is if it warrants the big-screen effect, which it usually doesn’t. I have my own home theater.

I get tired of all the coughing, laughing, popcorn crunching, candy wrapper crackling, and seat kicking… not to mention having to put up with the other movie goers.

If this were done today, it would be about Jason and Marcus waiting for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

I remember those days. I could hardly wait for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I saw all three movies within the first week of each. And I got all 3 special Editions when they came out on VHS/DVD.
