Andy: Jason, what are you doing?!
Jason: Building a model rocket. Which I will fill with salt and shoot into a cloud. Thus seeding it for rain.
Andy: I asked you to water the lawn!
Jason: Look, you do things your way, I do them my way.
@Nabuquduriuzhur: blessed you. Been so hot and dry here in the Midwest that we barely have any greenery at all. If this keeps up for a year or two more, we’ll be a desert.
It’s so dry here in the Ozarks that I heard some trees whistling for dogs… “rim shot”The cows are giving powdered milk! The chickens are laying soft-boiled eggs!
Some people just go about things the hard way: hike to the mountains to mine the bauxite to smelt the aluminium to build the airplane to fly to Brazil to pick the beans when all you want is a cup of coffee.

Give it up, Jason, and do it the way that your mom wants you to do it.

You can’t seed clouds if there are no clouds to seed.

Careful, if you use rock salt it will hail

I can just see it now. They are all on the roof of the house and it is under water. And Jason will say “Maybe I used too much salt”
