Roger: How goes the web slinging? Jason: Not so good. This wrist shooter I made keeps spraying the webs into me. Roger: The nozzle seems to be aimed correctly. Mind if I give it a try? Jason: You've been warned. Roger: Boy, you weren't kidding. Jason: I wish someone would start warning me.

And Peter (Parker, not Fox) made it so easy.

Just personal opinion here, but I personally thought it made Spidey more deserving of the name “Spiderman” when he had the web shooters be part of the mutation, otherwise one could argue that he ought to just be named “Stickyman,” since the only superpower he’s got (that every other superhero in existence DOESN’T have) is the ability to stick to walls, and really, spiders aren’t the only thing in creation to have that (likewise, to a certain degree, with spidey-sense).
But I know that’s not how it worked in the comics, so…shrugs

The first Ms. Marvel did (she called it her “sixth sense”, but it operated the same way), and Rogue drained it from her when she stole her powers.
