I remember that show!

One of my husband’s favorites. I loved the character of Mya.

There is an episode with that name. It first aired on October 2, 1975. A gold star for accuracy!

It was the kind of show where you had to ignore the bad acting and just enjoy the story. Kind of like any Charlton Heston movie.

I remember the series well. Loved it, of course I was quite young when it appeared, and, by today’s standards . . ..

What I remember most about this episode was that Brian Blessed was playing the quiet, reserved one.

I wonder if someone would do a re-make of it.

I’ve recently revisited “Space: 1999” on Hulu Plus. Still holds up quite well. And Barbara Bain… Va va va VOOM! :-)

I watched that as a girl. Enjoy the irony. A space station on the moon in 1999…

I had to look it up: “On September 13, 1999, magnetic energy builds to cause an explosive chain-reaction of the (nuclear) waste, blasting the Moon out of Earth orbit”…“The inhabitants of Moonbase Alpha are unable to return to Earth”…“Along the way, they are joined by an alien woman with the ability to change herself into any living creature at will.”.I am pretty sure I’m glad I missed it…

I remember one from this strip in that ran in January of 1999.Jason muses, “Shouldn’t Martin Landau be on the moon?”
