I think there was one that actually had a working (simple) spreadsheet that you could make changes to. ;)
And thus, Jason invented Pyrovision.
I remember one of the early Leisure Suit Larry games had that button, but not as a hot-key. ;-)
The “Boss Key” that displayed an accounting sheet was Function Key 2 (F2) in one early Personal Computer game.
I would have figured it paused the game and brought up a different screen entirely
