    I never had a problem with Word. I can’t say the same for Wordperfect. If someone stole your template (that showed all of the alt + shift + function key combinations) you were screwed.

    Loved Wordperfect. Powerful package. Especially the compiler that came with it.

    They used to until they realized 90% people never even cracked the cover of the damn thing. Then MS, and everyone else) decided to get even with the masses for not reading those manuals and put that horrendous “Help” button scattered about. About as unhelpful a tool as I’ve ever seen.

    @browniejfbThe Foxes have iFruits. But MS Word was actually first made for Macs, just like MS Excel. Then MS pushed the Windows versions ahead, and kept the Mac versions behind for some strange reason

    Microsoft Word has been renamed to/replaced with WordPad, but I still call it Word
