    God knows what you will do before you do it. So while you can choose to do this or that, God knew you would do that. And he knows how you will react with whatever he sends your way.

    What if people of varying political/religious/ideological/racial persuasions could just act like mature, responsible people and get along despite our personal hangups?

    And I am a pretty dyed in the wool conservative. A realist. Ooooooooh. How does that mess things up?

    Predestination is Calvin (and maybe Luther). Free Will is Catholicism and Orthodox. Two very different groupings and approaches to faith – and one of the primary theological reasons for the Reformation.
