now that Star Wars is mainstream it’s fun to see this old “freaks in the theater” stereotype from back in the day. Since then Star Wars has had a new trilogy, 2 spin off movies, 3 animated series, and a MASSIVELY successful spin off show on Disney+ 2 seasons in with even more to come out.
Back when the second and third movie came out, friends who were part of the STAR WARS cosplay scene were offered free tickets if they’d show up in their outfits at the movie theater for the local news crews “Look at all the nerds” coverage.

13.75 for 2 drinks, 2 candies and a large popcorn? Damn, nowadays you have to take out a second mortgage for that kind of refreshments.

I enjoyed the first three movies. The next three, not so much. The last ones were good.

You would think that those two would be old enough to know that Star Wars is just a movie, and the Force doesn’t exist in real life.
