I voted in our local elections a week ago. Several of the candidates were running unopposed with no organized write-in alternatives. But there were a couple of choices I wanted to leave blank.

Don’t worry Roger, in some countries, your ballot would have been cast automatically for the beloved leader.

The copyright notice says this was printed in 2000, but November 9 was on a Thursday that year, and Americans always vote on Tuesdays. November 9 has only been on a Tuesday twice since the strip started in 1988 – in 2004 and 2010. The copyright notice is off by either four or ten years.

Would it matter? The choice is usually the lesser of two evils and sometimes it isn’t even THAT good of a choice.

We had election, first time we did not bother, for part town live in there are different district’s and we was in the wrong one, and next for public school with only 4 candidates with my two done was pointless. I think only 10,000 voters voted in each district. And no I am not going to complain nothing to complain about. Next year will be more interesting Governor race.

I like how this was changed to just be generic vote signs.
