The Aussies down under use metric!

Bryson DeChambeau over thought all those metrics and thought himself out of contention!

Jason’s gonna whip Roger! Then he’ll never get invited again.

A game for a lifetime. You can pretty much play from 5 to 95 years of age. Courses of all levels of difficulty and price, same with equipment. You can play alone or with a group. You can play for money or just for fun. Keep score or don’t. Ride a cart or walk and carry or push clubs or use a caddy. Not many activities have this variety.

Computing the shots is one thing. You still have to train your body to execute the swing consistently enough to pull them off.

I had a friend who majored in Physics in college who was AMAZING at pool, because he did the mental calculations for how the balls were going to react to his shot. Neither of us cared for golf, though

Just because you can calculate the angles and distances and required velocities doesn’t mean you have the physical skills to actually hit the ball at the required speed in the proper direction.

Speaking of math, Roger is the guy who drops a lot of money on a golf club, but only tips the paperboy a nickel a month.

If it’s a thinking man’s game, that explains why Roger is so bad at it.
