If they won’t buy him an electric guitar, what about a steam powered guitar?

My middle son got an electric guitar. It sounded awful. Then one day I heard loud music. Knocked on his door and told him to turn off the radio. Found out he was playing his guitar! Sound was pretty good. I was impressed.

If his singing is that bad, the guitar will make it worse. Maybe he has a tin ear!

It’s working, Peter. Just keep it up and Andy will cave in. One good thing about an electric guitar is you can plug headphones into the amp. Unfortunately, your singing will still be heard.

Electric guitar, but with headphones instead of an amp. Amps are for the garage band – in the garage!

Reminds of the Sunday strip where Jason sang about not having homework on Saturday night while Peter and his friend Steve were working on theirs.

I understand their pain. My neighbor that I share a wall with has a son in his early to mid 20’s who has autism and ADHD and a couple of times a day he will go in his bedroom and will start to “sing” really loud and it is deafening and very annoying. I put sing in quotes because I don’t call it singing because he does it so fast and loud that you can’t even tell what the words are, for all we know he could be doing devil worship or ssomething like that. There are times he will do it for about 15 minutes but he has gone up t an hour also, I have put wads of kleenix in my ears numerous times to blocjk it out when I have one of my horrible migraines. Oh, and he also likes to bang on the walls with his feet, fist, or an object, such as a basketball, and that is worse and we have told him numerous times to stip because he will do it for a ong time and has even done it after midnight and I have had to threatened to call police on him and that usually gets him to stop. We have told landlord about it but he feels sorry for him so he really doesn’t do anything about it and the landlord also had a stroke a bouple of months ago so now he doesn’t come around like he did, he has a garage next door to our building.

There is never just one guitar and never just one amp.
