A few years ago, we were in a nearby town – where Donnie Wahlburg lives – and decided to try the Wahlburgers place that had just opened. As it happened (and we, having musical taste, had no idea until we got there), the next day was a come-back concert by the New Kids. It was wall-to-wall 40-something women.
The food? A 2-star burger at a 4.5-star price. So, better than than the band, but not getting a second visit.

ONE earplug? That wouldn’t do you much good. It would only reduce the volume by 3 dB.

Not even that much. The one earplug has finite attenuation, I would guess less than 6db.
