I believe in the Phantom that there are natives that keep an eye on things and catch fish to feed to the cats. I think he just gave her the gun to make her feel secure.
Glad to find you guys over here! I’m loving the currant arc on the Phantom! One of the best comics still out there. Suely he’ll have some of the natives keeping an eye on her at a distance. I hope he gave her the gun just to make her feel better. I’m sure that Savarna will make an appearance again somewhere down the road.
As for Rex Morgan, it’ll be about being foolish with your winnings, as many lottery winners are. I hope her brother doesn’t spoil things for Berna.

@ Paget, tickets worth 750 thou, she put it in her purse to go to work in Doc’s office and her brother almost had a Cow, but got over it.
