The Washington Post site is having problems this morning. It kept crashing on me. So I had to read these at that terribly slow and tedious Seattle PI site.

That the Phantom is immortal and a “ghost” are jungle myths/legend. you often see Walker in his huge library writing.They keep records of their experiences and they are well-studied about their predecesors making the Order palindromic– they are the same going forward as they are back to the first Phantom
I thought Jason was smarter than this. They must think everyone else is really stupid!

Very good explanation. In addition, they are all buried in part of the cave. You often see the comment about him being 400 years old. I think what Chatu is referring to was the time he jumped out of a chopper and left the Phantom on board with a bomb. He didn’t see P jump out just before it exploded so that’s why he thinks he killed him. Chatu has an ego that’s as big as the world.
