(Apt. 3-G) Dan tells Tommie, “I’m not that old,” and then he invites her to his apartment for breakfast. Maybe he will shave his beard off before she arrives!
(Rex Morgan) What a sleazy pair (panel 7).
(Mary Worth) Lisa makes her move on Drew.
(Judge Parker) Sophie tries to figure out how to make her move on Derek.
(FoxTrot) Jason apologizes in panel 5 (perdon). But, I don’t get this one - probably because I’m not into Pokemon. New Spanish vocab word: Pelota=ball here, (but babelfish says (bola=ball). ?
Florchi, did someone play 9 on the roulette table and reference their 9 millimeter gun? I’ve seen this in American Westerns where a cowboy will make a bet based on the number of the caliber (diameter of the gun barrel) they’re carrying.
Florchi: This is very interesting. We are ending the weekly strip with Chatu being put out of the picture and starting the Sun. one with his name, although I don’t know if he will be part of it. I agree with Teh on the reference too the 9 millimeter gun. In last Sunday’s strip, he made reference to how it was lucky for him at the roulette table,
P-Yesterday they were still pointing guns at each other. Today a whole new story line, though maybe some association.
MW - It took 3 days for Liza to make her move.
Rex- Good for Dex, not wanting to sue.
A3G-How old do you think Dan is? I thought he might be a match for Aunt Iris.
JP- not too interested in this arc. Hope it picks up soon.
Phntm has a different story arc on Sundays - so we are quite intrigued by the “overlay” between the weekday story & the Sunday story (the link being Chatu). The Boomsby prison story, with Chatu last seen pointing a gun, will be back tomorrow.
As to A3G, I too was thinking about Dan as a match for Aunt Iris, but am now thinking he may be a much younger guy who could be making a pass at Tommie. Or maybe his only interest in Tommie is her musical talent. Time will tell. Do you think Dan’s beard will come off before this storyline is over? :-)
