Apartment 3-G* – Ooooo, there’s gonna be a catfight!Funky Winkerbean – I figure if I read this strip every day, I’ll figure out what’s going on in a week or two. Worked for everything except Pibgorn and 9 Chickweed Lane, where I still don’t have the slightest clue.Judge Parker – Notice how the monitor is sitting on a couple of books – very realistic.Mark Trail – Moving right along.Mary Worth – And then what happened?Phantom – I’m guessing that you long time Phantom fans remember the story that Phantom is telling us about.Rex Morgan – We’re learning something about Kelly and her attitude.Annie – Here’s the link to Today’s Annie .
Mark Trail – Looks like Mark brought his red shirt along on the trip. A very colorful strip today, with Mark’s shirt and the mountie’s jacket!Mary Worth – They were told to leave immediately…but Gina plans to run off and see Bobby first. Judge Parker – Randy needs to do what he does (be a judge) and let the police do what they do. IMHO. Rex Morgan – Kelly’s dad was killed in action by an Improvised Explosive Device. Now that Principal Hallman knows the history I am betting he will want to work with Summer to resolve the problem with Kelly.Funky W. – That must be Funky in the red apron. Unlike some strips (e.g. Brenda Starr), the main character has aged over time.Apt. 3-G – As I recall, Lu Ann met Paul when he was hired to move a piano. Margo seems to be a bit of a snob.
Apt. 3-G – Margo thinks dating a piano mover is beneath LuAnnFunky W. – if you have access to old strips i don’t think you’d be disappointed going back and reading forward. Phantom is in Mexico, Mark is in Canada, where is Gina’s family headed?
FoxTrot – Peter is playing a Led Zeppelin tune using the telephone buttons. Unfortunately, that becomes “phone-dial roulette” and his dad complains that Peter’s been running up the phone bill by making calls to who-knows-where. It would be cheaper to buy a musical instrument to play the tunes.
A3G – I’ve had some misgivings about Paul and is family, but agree Margo may be a bit of a snob. Interesting to see where this goes.Rex – I think the prinicipal and other school personnel see Spider as the main problem and Kelly needs to get away from him.JP – Agree he should have reported this to the police immediately. I hope we get to see April and Randy, Alan and Kathryn at dinner.MW – Gina may have put Bobby at risk also. But in spite of all the tragedies that have happened to her, and because of them, she needs even more to learn to love again.Funky – Yes, the characters have aged in real time but I didn’t think Funky had put on so much weight. Crankshaft, which is also written by Tom Batuik, has introduced a character named Cayla who could be the same Cayla but about 3 hairstyles ago.

Phantom – Ernesto is the police chief at Ciudad Jardin on the Gulf Coast (8/19). Is that the Gulf on P’s left? If so, he’s heading north.

@davidf42
Phantom—I don’t remember anything about this story.
@Florchi
Mary Worth—I think that because Gina has to go see Bobby that they don’t get out of town fast enough and her father gets killed as a result of it.
