FUNKY W: Welll….reporter Stanley did find explorer Livingston in the village of Ujiji on the east side of Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania – and Les is headed for Tanzania. It looks like we may get to go along to Africa….yea! MARY WORTH: It would be great fun to go along to Italy with Wilbur and Dawn…but I still think we may end up staying with Mary and the “Ask Wendy” column (a back and forth storyline would be great …back and forth between Italy and Mary).
AFRICA: The distance from Ujiji (see FW comment above) to Mt. Kilmanjaro is approx. 550 miles. The mountain is east of the Ujiji /Kigoma area.. Love the Internet! This is the second misprint in names. A few days ago, the lawyer called out to “Iris Foster” and now Iris is naming herself as wanting to talk to her.
