For those who wonder about the long length of Lent leading up to only one day of Easter. Yes, Lent lasts 40 days (with interspersed “feast” days), but Easter lasts 50!
That’s how long it is from Passover to the Feast of Weeks, which the original Jewish Christians were celebrating when the Holy Spirit came.
