This is a nice comic strip art rendering of the Gammarelli tailor shop, the more or less official tailors to the Popes since the last years of the 18th Century. [Only Pius XII chose to use a different tailor.] The Gammarelli family has operated the shop for over 200 years, the sixth generation in charge now.
But I have to admit when I saw the colorful outfits in the window and the partial name over the window, “GAMM…” I thought of a different comics related tailor entirely. In Flash comics, Paul Gambi runs the Gambi tailor shop. The colorful outfits he offers, though, are the costumes of Flash’s enemies, the super-villains collectively called The Rogues. Here it is…
