    Gutenberg didn’t invent the printing press. He invented moveable type.

    Before Gutenberg’s invention, each page was printed from a single unified block. Moveable type allowed a printer to build a page by setting pieces for each letter, and locking the assembled pieces in a frame.

    Reminds me of a more concise form. A monk at a counter is telling a customer, “Our copier is breaking down.” In back a monk at a desk is sobbing…
