The Washington Post ran a different Frank and Ernest on the comics page today. The strip run in the Washington Post today has Frank looking at a sign which displays the words “BEWARE OF THE MISLEADING SIGN”. Since I didn’t find this strip in any archive, I suspect that Bob and Tom, anticipating some reluctance by some papers to run this strip, provided an alternative.
