I’ve done some work for a toy design company. You would think that would be the easiest job in the world, but they suffered faster burnout than a video game production house. The designers were under constant pressure for new ideas, refinement of existing products, or dealing with production hassles. The team I met with was always a different, increasingly younger as I got older group.
