treesareus: Modern medicine. I have left eye damage that could be cured by a cornea transplant, but the supply is too short to waste on an 82-year-old. Age also disqualifies me from Obamacare.

Redkaycei Repoc: I don’t have cancer or any life-threatening problem, just a left eye that does nicely in providing stereoscopic vision, but is rather useless on its own. I have a tumor part in and part out of my right kidney that we are playing watchful waiting since it hasn’t grown since discovery and can easily be removed if necessary..I also have a nice supplement policy for which I have already spent my co-pay for the year. It isn’t Canada, but by US standards, I am still well off. I just worry about those in my situation who aren’t.
