but then again, (not) everybody knows that you read hieroglyphics from that direction into which figures are facing. eagle facing right means you read that line right to left, so it IS “eye” before “eagle”
The phrase is “eagle eye”……….as in Indian Scout……..
Considering how many exceptions there are to the ‘i before e’ rule, this writing may actually be valid. :)
