    Oh, I’m sure the conditions were more cramped and unsanitary on the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. Plus, today we sardines won’t have to bear with it as long with the faster transportation.

    Time travel sounds so exciting, fascinating, etc., but when it comes to reality, I am happier with today’s conditions than in 1492,

    The Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria were 50, 56, and 62 feet long respectively. There were 40 men crammed onto the Santa Maria. That’s a tight fit for a long voyage.
