I can’t help wondering just what Caulfield would have done if Frazz had simply said, “No, I don’t.” Would he be obnoxious enough to spoil the ending? Was he just indirectly boasting that he had read the book himself?

Liberal arts too but I cannot stand “Of Mice and Men” But he did write Travel’s with Charley and Cannery Row so I must give credit
