Frazz by Jef Mallett for October 31, 2004
Transcript:
Caulfield: I had a checkup today. The doctor spent a lot of time looking up my nose. I asked her: in 13 years of primary school...four years of undergrad...four years of med school...and seeming lifetimes of residency...when did she realize it would come down to looking up noses? Frazz: I assume she explained how the primary-care-physician is the linchpin of the whole system. Caulfield: She explained that her special refrigerated stethoscope did not violate the hippocratic oath, and I lost my desire to interrupt.

I don’t mind the “looking up somewhere else”. It’s the FEELING, poking and prodding somewhere else that I’m not fond of!
