Frazz by Jef Mallett for December 24, 2006
Transcript:
Caulfield: I'm confused by the whole Santa Claus thing. Frazz: How so? Caulfield: Well, he's not very Christmassy. Frazz: He's not? Caulfield: Christmas is all about a savior, right? A redeemer. Be yourself; you've got a get-out-of-trouble-free card. Whereas Santa Claus demands certain behavior. Be good, you get swag. Slip up, you get coal. Forgiveness and redemption; bribery and extortion. Frazz: You may be oversimplifying both figures. Caulfield: Also, there's no way that outfit keeps him warm at that altitude. Frazz: The red flannel or the robe and sandals?
