Good one, Caulfield — pretty bass humor, but I like ’em low.

But we’re talking heavy metal here. Does Bonnie Raitt play an HM Strat?

The tenor of the comments today has me fretting. No, I shall pluck up, before I have burnt my bridges!

You know how people used to have tasters when they were afraid of getting poisoned? I think I’ll get a reader to warn me of any horrible puns in the comments section..Just as a percussion, mind you.

Trapper, Bonnie Raitt’s not exactly a household name, but I wouldn’t call her “obscure.” She’s had a long and successful career, and she was quite the “It Girl” at one point.

I’m not ragging on you, by the way, but it just goes to show that everybody’s ignorant, just on different subjects.

OIutstanding. I’ve been a Bonnie Raitt fan since the 70’s. She’s still a mighty tight woman.

Bonnie’s name has been dropped in thie strip before, in the context of Caulfield’s “Faust” Halloween costume (last year?). Randy Newman’s “Faust”, that is…

This is the kind of pop culture reference I’d expect to see on Family Guy, sorta.

Night-Gaunt, I’m not sure youve’ve picked up on “on a [F]ender” being a reference to a particular type of (electric) guitar, but it’s half of the joke…

[Damn Jef sure comes up with some obscure references. I looked up Bonnie Raitt and I still don’t know who she is.]=:oOPlus, it is nearly inconceivable that a kid Caulfield’s age would know who Bonnie Raitt is!

You can’t have looked very hard if you still don’t know who she is.Anyway, rather than fret about it, we should just let it slide.
