You use geometry when shooting pool.

I ALWAYS use my math in entrepreneurial situations. Like at lunch or dinner, I’m the guy who can figure out who owes how much or the tip…in my head. No electronic device interaction. Just the grade-school math tables, and being a kind of guy that engineers feel sorry for because i’m not one, and like, because I can schmooze and get stuff for them and their departments.

OK, I’m imagining a five year bull market right now……….

Imagine that.

Oh, poor child. You will need math someday if only to balance your checking statement. Imagine trying to figure out how much mulch to order for a planting bed 15 feet by 6 feet so that it covers to a depth of 3 inches, imagine trying to assess how much paint you’ll need to cover the walls of your bedroom, imagine trying to figure out compound interest…. Math is all around you.
