The grocery stores in our area are now keeping shaving products under lock and key. Seems to be a popular item to shoplift.

Better leave the store before you hear the words: “PRICE CHECK ON THE EXTRA STRENGTH BEANO!!”.

Eventually, you’ll be able to get a mask with row upon row of blades. You put it over your face, jiggle it up and down a few times and that’s it.

A good two blade disposable works just fine……

I wondered the same thing myself. Found that the old standby (single blade disposable) works just fine.

I still use the Shick Injector razor given to me by the Red Cross back in 1968 when I went to Viet Nam.

Sometimes cross-dressing used to give me an excuse to get queasy. It’s just another opportunity to practice your poker face, or as they say in the central profession, maintaining one’s state. Use it as a test: just what can I maintain ? are there situations I need to work on to control my state of mind?Who’s in charge here, anyway? Figure this one out, it’s important.

re Harryfan’s remark, it’s no wonder they’re such a popular shoplifting item. They’re small and portable, and they’re so damned expensive any more. If cars cost per pound what razor blades do, we’d all be walking.

Use a power mower. Less chance of getting cut and if they don’t have brushed on their motors (induction is best), don’t wear out. You can even sharpen the blades. [ex-shaver repairer]

I use my dad’s old razor dating from WW I. Works just fine. Solid brass.

Never tried his straight razors tho.
