Frazz: So you had a good vacation. Boy: We had some adventures, but after a while I just wanted to go home. Frazz: A regular odyssey, then. Boy: No, I think that's normal. Frazz: D'oh Boy: Can something regular be odd?
My first experience with Cyclops was in “The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad.” Didn’t bother me in the least. The skeleton swordsmen OTOH were bigtime scary. I guess it all came down to what would fit through my bedroom door!

And you gotta be clear the level of experience of the intelligence you’re talking with. Some references won’t relate…they’re not there. Yet.
Nice reminder why the Oddeysey is so compelling…it is natural to want to go home. Mostly there’s no there there.

1,3, 5, 7, 9, 11, etc. are regular and still odd.

That’s a really BAD pun, there. But Frazz is really correct, on a deep literary level: The Odyssey was a story about Ulysses’ voyage home.
