And my cat can take up more than half the bed, side to side. But only when I want to sleep or take a nap.

Yesterday’s discussion prompted me to pick up a frozen Margherita while shopping earlier. Come to think of it, there’s still two slices left.

Kittenheight is an ever-changing metric.

19" is very warm today…. by this time next month it’ll mean pleasantly sunny.

By next year the scale will be Catheight, and 19" will signify cool weather…

On the flip side, one of my mom’s cats used to love laying on the floor heating vents in the winter. She was able to ooze out to exactly cover the 1’ square vent in the bathroom. Very odd to see a square blob of cat.

Cats are shape shifters….They can go from 3 ft long to a little kitten depending what they want…It’s kinda spookyHi Susan, just ran across a card with a picture of a smiling tomato on the front…Somebody very clever made it….

There’s a saying that “You can tell the heat of the day by the length of the cat.”

My daughter’s cat functions as well as a rock. I haven’t seen her move in hours.

One time during the cool season I observed the family cat lying by a sunny window absorbing the warmth, and I said “that’s a passive solar cat.” My brother replied “Actually, he’s an active solar cat, because he has a circulatory system.”

And, just because the artwork and philosophy so often remind me of Bill Waterson’s work, Calvin degrees.
