Frazz by Jef Mallett for September 28, 2015
Transcript:
Frazz: I bet people live in Ireland based on the five days a year it's emerald green but not raining. In Seattle, for the few days the mountain's out. California for the week it's not parched. Girl: So...liking it here based on three weekends of cider and doughnuts...Frazz: Perfectly rational.

Sure, there’s really nothing more to life than being transfixed by scenery. Still, cider and doughnuts……hmmmmmm!

Got me to wondering why others might live where they do. for example Santa Clause AZ, reason is obvious. Do people live on Easter island for the same reason? Little Italy for the pizza, I’m sure, China Town, for the cuisine as well. Any time a strip gets me to look something up online, it has done it’s job for the day.
Big Puma, please see yesterday for more…My apologies as well.

For the past year Seattle has had lots of sunshine, and had a very hot, dry summer. Another winter with less rain and cold that usual is predicted.

Frazz allows carbs to touch his lips? SCAN-DALL-LOUS!

That’s a lot of rationalization for basing you preferences on weather.

The Cherry Hut? There are no cider mills in Benzie County! Love their cherry pies though! For me it is Diehl’s in Holly MI. Filtered, unpasteurized cider, hot donuts, cider slush and caramel apples. That is our usual order.

We used to take our apples to a mill in Riga, MI. Since then, best i’ve had was fom Odelehrs in Brussels IL.

Citrus, apples, peaches, blueberries, cherries, figs, all growing in the same backyard with a climate conducive to all. That’s why I love California.

“The mountain’s out”. Yep, he got the wording right. Now I wonder if that’s a common saying outside the Northwest.
