You can believe what you want, but you have to deal with reality. Medicine, surgery, biochemistry: none of them really care how the body became what it is. Though it sort of helps that our bodies are enough like the other creatures on this planet that we can eat them, and use their heart valves as spare parts.

You need to “go” because your body wants to empty itself so you can run faster. Of course, you don’t, because you’re not a wild animal.
