You can’t get them any more now that the Sunny’s Surplus closed up.

Show jumping – you just pay a big horse to carry you over those jumps instead of leaping over them yourself. I’m telling you, it’s just high hurdles for lazy trust fund kids.

Well, you can use pull carts. Those let you walk. It’s a nice sport, and you’re out in the fresh air and sun to play.

I seem to recall Tim Allen once describing a Bass Boat as two drunks on bar stools sitting on a 15’ chunk of metalflake fiberglass with a 400 horsepower motor bolted to the back end…

I had to take a course in golf in junior college. I learned what to call each of the clubs, how to swing each of them effectively, and that they were totally unsuited to the task at hand. If, for some reason you have decided that you want the little ball in the little hole, and you are then going to walk over to the hole and pull it out, why not just wait until you get there and then put it in so you can then take it out? At least it gives people who are moderately athletic an opportunity to compete with each other, which some people enjoy doing, similar to hunting, without harming any animals.

Worth doing if you can get a ride like Alan Shepard’s.

Golf is a good walk; spoiled! I don’t know who uttered this “truism” but it fits so well it could be construed as a universal truth!

People dis golf, but it’s good to have at least one sport for old guys.

Sports where you ride from play to play includes polo.
