Caulfield uses that regionalistic “anymore” as a synonym for “nowadays” which always sounds weird to New York ears.

Sports are a calamity?

In my opinion all sports seasons are a month or a month and a half too long. But it’s all about the $$$$.

Baseball and Football? BORING, IMNSHO

Baseball season is the best and it does end. The NFL hype machine ensures there is never an offseason but 365 days of some kind of football news.

Hurricane season officially begins June 1, with the peak in September.

So…. if we want to stop hurricanes, we should no longer allow American-style football to be played? Well… I guess we all need to make sacrifices for the greater good….

Tornado seasons is getting longer on both ends, and “Tornado Alley” is getting bigger; however baseball started late.

Football season is magnificent. Of course I’m talking about PROPER football, not the weird padball flavour. I personally enjoyed watching Liverpool play United off the pitch the other day, give me that over a gang of lads pedaling about in a bunch any day.
