We had a freely roaming cat who spent nearly all her time outdoors. She lived over 20 years. And doesn’t anyone check the comic before posting? Somebody messed up the coloring.

The one thing cat people may envy dog people: the social gatherings.

There’s no dog park equivalent for cats. Mine hates any other cat and mistrusts any living being that isn’t prey to him. Something I can barely overcome by feeding I guess.

I’ve always walked my cats on leashes. They loved it.

There are many good reasons which may or may not be the real reasons!

Become a pet-sitter! You’ll meet all sorts of cats, and dogs, and fish, and tortoises, and lizards, and birds, and even chickens!!! Of course, you need to be an adult to drive everywhere to care for the pets, and have insurance and be bondable. Also, some pets are a bit obnoxious around people other than THEIR people! And some actually behave better around the pet-sitter. I have lots of stories and beloved pets who are not mine, but are like family, and that’s how they think of me, as a family member. Best part? They are ALWAYS happy to see me!!!

Our cats don’t go outside.
