He looks the part.

Puppy? He doesn’t look like a puppy to me. Look at the studded collar, the scruffy coat, the arrogant, overconfident smile.

On the other hand, he could be just a bit spoiled and otherwise a complete love.

This is one punchline that didn’t make it across the Atlantic. GBS was right.

It was tried in WW-II but didn’t work out. We still need an English-English translating dictionary.

I have a booklet that was distributed to GIs going to Britain, with definitions like:

chucker-out: bouncer

It also remarks, “You may think a London taxicab looks funny, but wait till you see it make a U-turn in a narrow medieval street!”

Nice to see Fred get the attention he deserves. I’m a bit of an Anglophile and ASBO is new to me. Not exactly GBH. Hope Fred’s not a Hammer’s fan tho. ;0)
