My pup has a day bed in the living room, the office and the bedroom. He’s not spoiled at all! But he is comfy! He also has loads of blankets to snuggle up in.
After a house fire my black lab’s doggy bed was one of the fire casualties. During the clean up we dumped everything charred into one big pile to be eventually hauled away. I found her digging in the pile, before I could yell at her to get away from that mess she found the torn corner of her bed and carefully tugged it out and away from the pile then with a huge sigh plopped on top of it.One hour later we were at Petco letting her pick her own new bed out.I never considered that the poor ol’ pup was as traumatized as I’d been over the fire losses.

Our dog chewed up two doggie beds already.

@Chepi89….Good for you! That’s the way our canine friends deserve to be treated.
@Simon_Jester, Yes, I would love to curl up in front of that fire too. But give me a nice roomy sofa instead of the easy chair.

My basset sometimes drags his bed out from his house. He has an outdoor bed but I guess he wants more choices.
