One morning I was trying to sleep in while my roommates were awake and making a lot of noise. I texted them ‘shhh!’ One of them yelled ‘seriously? you’re too lazy to get up and tell us to shush up??’
We have two land lines. Rather than shout down the stairs, (hubby’s too deaf to hear me anyway) I will call him on the phone. He has the phone wired in the shop to flash the overhead light when it rings.
