My mini dachshunds took off running after a rabbit once, with no possible chance of catching it. It zoomed through the fence at the end of the field and disappeared. They, however, apparently thought that it had gone up a 50-foot blue spruce tree near the fence! They stood there and barked their heads off, and refused to come into the house, they were so convinced that rabbit was up that tree! I finally had to bodily pick them up and carry them, which was difficult, because I was laughing so hard!
