Don’t take it so hard Fred. They shouldn’t keep putting food right at the edge of the table.
But Fred loves those sausages.
Fred you broke Rule # 1 of Sausage Club ! ….. You got caught ! …. Look both ways before taking the sausage next time ;-)
And Mrs Dear, time and time again you leave the sausages out where Fred can get them! When will you ever learn?

Never treat a dog like that they are very sensitive and feel real guilt, no like people. Make sure you put food well out of their reach, help them out they are just dogs.
Give Fred some sausage and send him away and then put yours out……
They are both very slow learners, and I am not talking about Fred.
But that is what dogs do.
