At least neither of them has gone off to join Yorkie or one of their other friends. They both seem to be waiting for the other to apologize as often happens in real life.

Now Fred – you know you two need to talk this out. Sitting silently in anger (my Mom called it ‘stewing in your own juices’) won’t solve anything. Yes, even friends can disagree or unintentionally hurt one another. Just don’t let it go on too long.

Maybe Jock is a bit jealous of the new cat friend Fred has now.

That cat could probably solve it.
