I have a picture of Dad playing with the electric train I received for Christmas one year. It surprised me, I didn’t think Dad knew ‘how to play’ ! ! !

I love travelling on both bus and train. My most popular train trip was a trip from Southampton Airport Parkway which is near my home to Liverpool Lime Street via Birmingham to attend a deaf event there in June 2017.

I saw two statues of Ken Dodd and Bessie Braddock in Lime Street station. Very nice. For two days I’ve visited the underground club where the Beatles play and where Cilla Black (not my relation) sings.

I also went to dock where I saw statues of the Beatles and the museum. I went home the next day It was one trip of my lifetime. I enjoyed a train trip I never forget.

“ALL THE WORLD LOVES A TRAIN”

Is what said, in a circle, on a T shirt bought over 20 yrs ago, at the TRAIN store ( Sheldon would have loved) at the Mall of America.
