Doggies aren’t designed for riding slides. He could possibly get friction burns in delicate places, or fall off the slide.

Don’t want belly burns.

My brother’s dogs love to float in his pool on those blow up floats – and they are careful enough not to poke holes in them. They are large dogs, too.
