It’s true. There has to be enough pressure to set the soap going and hose the car off nicely and thoroughly, but too much pressure and it isn’t only the car that gets soaked. Fred, you are such a good monitor of the situation.
In some areas of the town I live in here in Colorado, there is a painted picture of a fish above the street storm drain and a note reminding people that the water goes into freshwater outdoor lakes and such, so please don’t dump stuff into the drain!
